As you remember, don't forget the importance of self care! Memories are an essential component to living, striving to honor and remember. As you take this time, bear in mind that self care is equally important. Sometimes viewed as a selfish act, self-care is preservation of the soul. It's intentionally seeking those things that provide a sense of calm and peacefulness within. This weekend as you remember, be good to yourself!

How fortunate that on our morning walk, we saw this at the park. Fitting since my daughter graduated from high school this week--Congratulations to all of the graduates! I wish you smiles, Even in the darkness. I wish you gratitude, For this life. I wish you perseverance, During hardships. I wish you light in your heart, When you’re wronged. I wish you confidence in your abilities, When you’re questioning. I wish you self reflection, To bring about growth. I wish you inspiration, So you appreciate humanity. I wish you a strong voice, For yourself and others. I wish enough challenge, To keep you humble. I wish enough fortitude, To realize your dreams To make them come true!

With Love

With appreciation to all of the strong women out there-- Happy Mother's Day!

Walking through the store today, we noticed the unconventional placement of this item and laughed. It made me reflect on how important it is to notice the unexpected, laugh, and reflect. Advice to my younger self... *Getting lost sometimes may lead to new opportunities *Laugh as much as possible *Take one day at a time *If you wouldn't say it to someone else, don't think it about yourself *Don't take yourself too seriously *Stay active...but not too busy that you forget to notice your surroundings *Smile every day *Express gratitude daily *It's ok to fail *Try to learn something every day *Appreciate where you are and what you have right now
