Silent until you made yourself known,
You speak so loudly at times that my body is mute.
Rendered helpless at times I continue to fight,
My scars not always visible.
A warrior
still...fighting...still.
You roar against me as I hang on; my body unfamiliar, a stranger
Who is a warrior?
Those fighting for normalcy,
Betrayal from a disease that is never finished.
You are whole
still...fighting...still.
